First lady Michelle Obama used a speech Monday that was supposed to be celebrating the opening of a new museum to instead dig deeper the racial divide thats been growing ever wider during her husbands presidency.
Museums and concert halls, she said, just dont welcome non-white visitors especially children the way they welcome whites.
Speaking at the new Whitney museum in New York Citys meat packing district last week, Obama said she grew up thinking that museums were not places for someone who looks like me.

Michelle’s fulla sh*t - just like her husband.
That face resembles the Grinch
“(I read somewhere the average IQ of a black person is 75. That means 50% are below the number 75.)”
The IQ development for kids in their formative years has a lot to do with the family and schools that should soak the sponge, a kid’s mind, to absorb so much knowledge, languages and facts of life.
Families are broken and ignorance is rampant. Schools? Heh, the teachers are political, homos and left of Stalin’s: drink this free vodka and shut the hell up OR ELSE!
It’s a hopeless case and will get much worse. Black conservatives are being hunted down for telling the truth about the black community.
Hey, you left out “looted!”
Shame on you especially in light of the latest Baltimore looting.
It attracts a fairly white, elite crowd. It’s snowing in there.
Great comment x... right on every point.
Hey people, she raises a valid point (if you consider that Wookies probably have never really belonged in museums).
To think that during my lifetime, the United States actually had someone like Pat Nixon as a First Lady that many greatly admired and respected (as opposed to this “beard” around nowadays). I do not like expressing harsh sentiments like these, but what else can you think or say concerning the narrow minded, puerile worldview she has.
What an utter race-baiting moron.
Try acting like civilized human beings....
OTOH, I guarantee you that her kids, who went to Lab ( expensive private school in Chicago ) went to at least TWO and probably more, museums, on field trips.
Well, maybe she has a point..I mean look at that name...Whitney!!! Sounds VERY suspiciously WHITE!!! Is it derived from something like WHITE-KNEE??? Racism! Oppression! Eurocentric privilege and elitism! The poor woman has been a victim of Microaggression this day! She needs all of you to send her some reparations! /s;)
Hence the innate inferiority complex that she and many like her experience.
Maybe some day she'll become interested in this thing called “civilization.”
LOL Ouch!
It is about ‘race’ because these people like/want to make their ‘race’ superior to other ‘races’ that have learned to cohabitate albeit sometimes with violence, e.g. Nazi whites vs. other European whites. This use of ‘race baiting’ has been going on for years although black vs. yellow vs. white vs. whatever color of skin has been in humane existence since time immemorial.
Yeah : )
WINNER!!
It doesn't threaten them. It's become expected. If she asked them why they charge so much money for admission -- if she said that was a reason plenty of people felt out of place there -- things would get more awkward.
I'm not saying there aren't economic reasons for charging that much for admission. The museum has to stay solvent. I'm just saying talk about other reasons why people felt ill at ease in museums or didn't visit them wouldn't go over as well at the Whitney as what she said did.
Oh, nothing so benign as that. What the Mooch would like is to abolish museums and concert halls because they are representative of "white privilege."
"Thugs in-training' of any age, any gender, any race are not appreciated. Perhaps Michelle should revisit the upbringing by the parent(s), any culture that obviates respect.
Stop this constant 'bleating' of victimization. Just take advantages of the many, various opportunities this country offers, as many of poor non-English speaking immigrants have done for ages.
