Would we ever be able to detect particles moving faster than the SOL?

I've been raked over coals for saying this. And I have no proof or science. I have reviewed the formulas that "prove" faster than SOL is not possible. But the formula relies on assumed variables. The formula (if I remember correctly) says that faster than the SOL = Time travel. I say, yea, it's why we can't detect it. It happens ahead of an observable occassion. Duh! LOL

Haha. I agree with you. I have said for years, that it is entirely possible that the path we are taking scientifically could be a rabbit hole that inhibits true progress to actually determine that the SOL is not the upper limit.
