Drugs are generally hideous. I’m not user, nor condone its use.
WoD is an industry, and manned by honorable people, but it’s still a massive industry.
Being a conservative libertarian, I’m interested in the smallest degree of government control possible. This isn’t a comfortable paradigm for most. So yeah, there’s the risk you mentioned.
No offense but your seeming minimization of “yeah, the risk” is a big part of the problem of why its so entrenched today.
To be honest if swat was used exactly how it was sold to us - which it has not been - hardcore drug dealers and gangs would have been destroyed. And there would have been so much fear instilled almost nobody would seriously consider it worth it to be a hardcore drug dealer.
