I have to agree here. Any church concerned about a tax exempt status looks to me like they are more focused on the "god business" rather than religion.

There is something not right about pastors being driven around in limos and living in huge mansions but this is what not paying any taxes can do.

Imagine the lifestyle every American could have were they "tax exempt" like churches !

Why give anyone tax exempt status then? There are many nonprofit groups I would enjoy seeing lose their tax exempt status. Fair is fair.

I’ve attended more than a few Baptist Churches in my lifetime and don’t recall any of the pastors being chauffeur driven or living in mansions.
