“Punishment” is a loaded word.
We all “deserve” hell, let alone “punishment.”
BUT, in opposition to this, God offers great grace to the humble.
What is wrong is to take the idea that we have to just sit there and endure it like good little passive penitents. We have an active role we are called to. It is not called making the world nice.
You are very optimistic, and I hope that your faith carries you to a great reward in heaven.
But we are all going to endure hell on earth in coming years. Add Islam to the mix, give all the bad guys ARs and AKs, it will be at least this bad. Watch the first two 12-minute segments when you can find time.
