Oddly enough, Sanders has said two things that are intelligently populist, if he meant them. But they don’t go far enough.
1) To severely reign in the NSA. Oddly enough, this *isn’t* radical enough. The US Intelligence Community is 17 different agencies, all of which need massive reform and a return to constitutionality, i.e. “The bad guys are *them*, not *us*. So pay attention to *them*, not *us*.”

2) To punish billionaires that currently do not pay US taxes. Oddly enough, once they start paying *normal* taxes, in that this should be “fair”, not “punitive”, the tax structure for them needs to be changed, so that they are encouraged to invest in America, its infrastructure, businesses, entrepreneurship, workers, and research and development.
Right now, giant sectors in investment are dangerously like gambling, and are carried out by “too big to fail” financial institutions and billionaire gamblers, figuring that they will win vast sums of money, but their losses will be covered by government, that is, the taxpayers. So this crap has to end.
In any event, Sanders is a socialist wiener who will never get anywhere, but what he is saying should appeal to, and be enlarged upon, by conservatives.
Definitely *not* the same endings, but similar means.
The thieving SOCIALISTS (RATs) believe they have a right to claim a large portion of your personal sweat equity.
They need to be disabused of that notion.
