Hannity talking with anonymous cop making breaking news. Cop says Freddy tested positive for drugs, including heroin, thus supporting story by cops and the other criminal in the van that Freddy was trying to cause harm to himself. The drugs would certainly make it easier for him to do it.
Cop also says they were explicitly told not to confront looters and robbers "direct from commander."
He swallowed drugs...which broke his neck?
Ok
Look closely at the video. His limp frame was like that of a rag doll and he was artificially being propped up to look like he was both ambulent and able to stand or climb into the van on his own.
But, so far, I guess I'm the only one on FR to hold this opinion.
Leni
I agree with you.
Personally I think it's conspiracy to commit first degree murder after the initial injury. I think a knee to the spine was applied too hard, too close to the neck during the takedown and snapped it, probably accidentally. That would also explain the crushed larynx. But to cover it up, they decided they would be better off if he died, supposedly during a rough paddy wagon ride. So - no paramedics, dragging a guy propped up to the van who was in pain and entirely paralyzed from the neck down, leaving him on the floor unstrapped-in, and stopping three separate times on the way to jail to "check" on him, making sure he arrives dead.
Chillingly cold-blooded coverup murder - and I believe they're all going to get away with it. That's just the way things work these days - cops pay for nothing, ever. And history has many, many examples of where such policies inevitably lead. But that's where we are.
The Supreme Court has watered down probable cause, and the Fourth Amendment in general, in numerous Unconstitutional ways.
So appealing to that authority doesn't really convince me that the policy is valid, just because it might be rationalized into supposed legitimacy by a Statist court.
Jeraldo is on Fox News, Hannity show repeat, talking about this from the scene...and he is now a blonde, moustache and all!
Finally there is a blonde bimbo at Fox...
Hannity loves him.
I know that you don’t shatter three bones in your neck from getting jostled.
A broken neck or a spinal cord injury? Yeah. I can buy that.
THREE freaking shattered bones?
No.
Something happened to this man beyond what is being admitted to. The fact that the cops tried to cover up a stop makes me roll my eyes.
Yawn.
“The Supreme Court has watered down probable cause...”
Well, for academic studies and future cases that may be a valid point.
However, we are talking about the present law that these officers have to abide by and are defended by. It’s the law.
It has been said that he requested his asthma inhaler and medical assistance several times on the way to the station. It’s not possible to speak with a crushed larynx.
I’ve been watching tonight....You know he’s almost 70 years old now...might be he’s white not blond.
He’ll always be central to his reporting rather than what’s actually going on...with his ego it could be no other way. Even so he does often go into situations no others will so I have to give him credit for that.
You have a case here where Gray ‘frequently’ cried wolf medically...police reports will surely show such as this goes to court. Further it’s well known repeat offenders in that area do just that....this ties up officers time in hospitals a tactic they love to do in their war against the police.
Good to see you, hope all is well
Thank you and I hope all is well with you also!
Goes back to the start of the Tea Party Movement with the Free Republic Tea Party Rally where I met you in Feb 2009.
Probably got pressured and made a deal with whoever is trying to prosecute the officers, so now he’s saying something different.
It will be interesting to see the court case play out.
A few days ago his hair was dark, moustache also.
With a bit of grey.
Now, to my eyeball, it is blonde.
He definitely did something with it.
I don’t like him or his reporting style, it’s all about him.
Plus his giving away our Military’s position in the middle of a war was a traitorous thing to do.
Actually, long ago as an EMT, and at present, in a family which includes two Paramedics, we have each been assaulted many times by individuals who were under the influence of various substances and completely out of control. I mean crazy out of control.
It is common for individuals under the influence of various narcotics to become violent, hurting themselves and others. Sometimes seriously. There have been many incidents where the individuals either killed themselves, or others.
I once had two colleagues nearly killed transporting a patient who had used marijuana, crack, and diamorphine (heroin), probably over the course of a few hours. The individual was in transport and restrained, (hands and ankles cuffed to the gurney), when he broke both side rails completely off, broke both of his own ankles, and proceeded to beat the paramedic alongside of him nearly to death. He then attacked the driver who had of course pulled off the road to avoid an accident.
The guy didnt go nuts until about ten minutes down the I-696.
The medic driver was in the hospital for two weeks. The other medic for over a month. The first officer to arrive on scene spent 5 days in the hospital, and required several surgeries over the next year. The guy was only restrained after being hit with the second taser.
This is just one incident. Even the curriculum involved when training to be an EMT, regardless of what level, addresses issues which will inevitably be experienced by responders to such calls.
While it would be prudent to reserve judgment until more is known, it is actually reasonable and justified to conclude, if this guy had ingested anything alleged in this report, and it got into his system, he really could have done this to himself.
If he did ingest heroin, it is actually unreasonable to conclude that it could not have taken place.
“Freddie Gray was mortally wounded in the back by then, there is no disputing that fact based on the information that we have.”
Do you have a link to that “fact” from a credible source? If so I’d like to see it.
We heard all kinds of wild falsehoods in the Trayvon Martin and Ferguson cases. I’ll wait for the facts.
“Probably got pressured and made a deal with whoever is trying to prosecute the officers, so now hes saying something different.”
It would be a safe bet that the initial interview with him was recorded. He changed his story after the media disclosed his name. He’s probably afraid. After seeing all those thugs behaving like animals, rioting, looting and burning stuff down, he has reason to be afraid.
