I can sympathize with people that get addicted to pain medication due to back problems. This is the same thing that happened to Rush. You are in a tremendous amount of pain everytime you move with back problems. These drugs (oxy and hydra codone, etc...) are very powerful and highly addictive.
With all of that said, Beckel is still a jackass....
I’m sure Fat Bob will apologize to Rush for all the nasty drug-related references he’s made about him.
That is so true. Back surgeries have caused a lot of drug problems for some. Rush was one famous example.
And we here are giving Beckel the same treatment the nasty liberals gave Rush. Silly me, I thought we were better than that.
Hope he has a successful recovery. Wouldn’t doubt for a minute that Rush himself will call Bob with encouragement, btw, and we would never hear a word about it. That’s quite a club- those suffering prescription drug addiction. They must have mutual sympathy.
I herniated a disc in my neck and was prescribed a very high dose of Vicodin. It still barely touched the pain and I was taking one every 3 hrs. After a couple of weeks the pain started subsiding a little so I started cutting back the dosage. I walked into our kitchen and hubby said what’s wrong? I said...I’m sick. I am sweating, shaking, and feel like I’m gonna throw up. He laughed and said...awwww you’re going through withdrawals.
I took the bottle and flushed them right then and there and have never taken another Vicodin.
