However, I don’t see how Gray’s jail time will matter in court. This particular arrest is reportedly without cause. He was apparently arrested by sight of him, without warrant. The leaks and stories keep changing.
This looks bad for the cops because there is an appalling and total lack of evidence that supports their account, so far. No cameras in the van. Film shows what looks like to me anyway, as agony for Gray in the scuffle during arrest. This before he was even inside the van.
What happened inside the van sounds worse. The arresting cops may not have even realized he was seriously injured, maybe, maybe, they thought he was pretending. They said it was rage. Didn’t look like rage to me. He appeared to be agonized.
Sorry it appears the spine injury about Grey is false as per snopes. The lawsuit was for lead in a home they rented some years back.
