Due process matters.

Evidence matters.

Innocent until proven guilty matters.

You ask me why I am defending these cops?

The answer is because I just spoke with a person who said that these cops should be executed.

Like I said, I fear you more than I fear police.

Be afraid. Murder is murder and the result should be execution or life-long incarceration. That they are/were police officers, they should be held to higher standard, especially as their actions occurred while in uniform.

Due process does matter. Agreed.

Evidence does matter. Agreed.

Innocent until guilty does matter. Agreed.

But do they only matter for police, or are they also supposed to matter for the guy who was arrested and died with a broken spine?

He’s not gonna get a trial. He’s in the ground. Did he deserve to die for a legal knife because he’d had priors?

Or do we only give the benefit of the doubt to those who wear a badge?

People who excuse and rationalize government oversteps are the scariest of all, wouldn’t you agree?
