All I want is ONE liberal to explain to me if two consenting adults can be married regardless of their gender, then why can't three consenting adults also be married?

Some liberal please ANSWER that and I will actually start listening to your arguments.

I’ve tried that MANY times. I even asked why cant 20 people get married to 20 other people and have a 40 person marriage.

They then launch into some thing about “we are only talking about 2 people” TOTALLY DESTROYING THEIR POSITION THAT THEY WANT “MARRIAGE EQUALITY”!

I asked several Progs and they all told me that I was being silly because they don’t want that. I explained, “No. I want that. If 2 men can marry, why can’t I marry two women?”

They said that polygamy is wrong because it is unfair, but could not explain why.

They could be married. Under any ceremony they see fit

But, IMO, marriage should be completely irrelevant and unrecognized by the government for any purpose.

If someone wants to marry 50 horses in a Klingon ceremony, I don’t give a damn. As long as the government doesn’t acknowledge any marriage at all- hetero, homo, poly or horse.

What if there are only two people, but they’re brother and sister?

"All I want is ONE liberal to explain to me if two consenting adults can be married regardless of their gender, then why can't three consenting adults also be married? Some liberal please ANSWER that and I will actually start listening to your arguments." One of the Justices actually asked that question during oral arguments (Alito, I think). The answer of the lawyer for the same-sex couples was, essentially, that once you add in a third (or fourth, or . . .) person, things like family law, inheritances, etc., become much more complicated. The example she gave was something to the effect of - if a man has four wives, and divorces the fourth wife, would the second wife have visitation rights over he fourth wife's children?

So, the "answer" was based on administrative complications, not any sort of principles.

Sorry, messed up formatting of my previous post.
