Wife and I visited PR over Christmas week. We rented a beach front place on the northwestern coast. Very pretty.
But even in this mostly rural area, there were used syringes laying in the street near our rental.
Yeah, given the choice, I’d rather go to the Virgin Islands. Been there a few times too — they are very close to PR. You used to be able to get there by ferry, but I think they shut it down.
