Suspicious. And doesn’t change the negligence of the police, nor any overt actions they may have taken. A lot of excuses and distractions can be leaked but they do not change the fact that this guy was arrested for looking at the police and running; then thrown in a van, and is next dead. Doesn’t matter who the victim is, out-of-control police need to be held accountable for their actions or inactions.

I disagree. If the guy was trying to win the ghetto lottery by intentionally hurting himself as the basis for a suit against the city, then the police have very little responsibility for the results.

“out-of-control police need to be held accountable for their actions or inactions.”

Factually, I see no evidence of abuse.

He was standing on the bumper of van, twisting his neck and back to yell at other citizens.

So, his spine wasn’t severed prior to getting in van.

FACT. No police were in van with him, so there is no evidence of direct police abuse or negligence.
