Most Americans would be shocked to learn that the Democrats still control the Senate even after Republicans won the majority last year, but it is true.
Breitbart News reports:
"With two minor exceptions, every single vote that has passed the U.S. Senate since the beginning of this Congress in January has passed with at least usually more than 93 percent of support from Democrats."
Despite controlling the Senate, Republican leaders are passing bills that have more support from Democrats than Republicans.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has helped the Democrats pass funding for executive amnesty, pass the budget-busting "doc fix", and confirm numerous liberal nominees including Loretta Lynch for Attorney General.
All of this has Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) cheering. His office praised McConnell for doing the "right thing" and said, "Democrats hope this trend will continue."
If you've had enough of this, please make a contribution to the Senate Conservatives Fund so we can elect true conservatives to the U.S. Senate!
BAIT AND SWITCH
Americans voted to send more Republicans to Washington last year because they were promised that a new Republican majority in the Senate would stand up to President Obama and his agenda.
Senator McConnell vowed to repeal Obamacare root and branch, to use spending bills to defund bad policies, and to oppose any nominee for Attorney General who didn't oppose executive amnesty.

Republicans are just a wing of the Uniparty.
The presumption is that Johnson would be replaced by a better Conservative, and I’ll tell you exactly what would happen: the Democrat minority and the legislative RINOs would conspire to either reelect Johnson or a much more left-leaning candidate (the party being of little importance).
You couldn’t even get the TX legislature (which is roughly 2/3rds Republican, far more so than WI’s) to elect a Conservative Senator such as Ted Cruz (and those same RINOs and Dems conspire to elect a RINO House Speaker, and would’ve elected RINO liberal David Dewhurst to the Senate). You’d face this problem in almost every state with a GOP majority, hence the Dem states send hard-left moonbats and the GOP ones would send squishies.
And the House...
And the Supreme Court...
And the bureaucracies that make up the illegal fourth branch of government.
It’s time to stop voting for people just because they have an “r” behind their names. In fact, that’s a good reason not to vote for them. Let the democrats win big in one election. That gets rid of the rinos. Then the next election real conservatives MIGHT be elected.
No, just another example of how broken the ballot box is. One more box.
“The Senate is the Elite, Royalty of the US”
I figured that out decades ago, probably like you.
Our DC politicians do not represent the people that voted them in or the views of their state government. They represent their party, period. This last election is a perfect example of how the Republicans have told the voters to go get screwed. That they will do whatever they damn well please and no one can do anything about it.
Long past time.
KY Mitch admitted c. October 25, 2014, that his becoming majority leader wouldn’t mean a thing. He was right of course in that regard. But like his constituents, KY Mitch is wrong on nearly everything else.
Suckers yes, but they didn’t fool us for a minute. It’s the Republican primary voters who are the most uninformed in the early states like IA, NH, SC, GA, and FL.
Ernst = Beware of all thing Iowan!
People in KY must have never met a traitor they didn’t like to hold onto for life.
