“How redefining marriage will make US fertility rates fall even faster”
While redefining marriage won’t help ANYTHING, the principal causes of the fertility rates to fall are as follows:
- Hooking-up is a heck of a lot more popular than marriage, hence less marriages.
- “simple”, “no fault” divorce has made marriage less of a commitment than leasing a car. Why have kids when you might decide to get a new model next year anyway.
- Having a child today is a commitment to WAR. The war to try to raise your children properly WITHOUT Government interference. Sadly, a lot of good people don’t want to take on the fight.
- Society no longer cherishes and appreciates children. More and more restrictions are being placed on ‘families’ and ‘children.’
- Several of the above items have a inverse effect relative to wealth. The most able to afford children tend to have few or none, while those least able to provide a good life for children breed like rabbits.
Gay ‘marriage’ won’t help the situation, but I am afraid in comparison to the items above, it is but a small pot hole.
Moreover, children fortunate enough to escape the abortion holocaust are primed rather early in schools to submit to the rape of their minds and bodies. To wit:
