Text and morse are ok, so once again, morse makes it, where voice doesn't.

If you haven't already, check out the Straight Key Century Club (http://www.skccgroup.com/). I normally operate higher speed CW with a paddle and keyer, but it's a real hoot to plug in a straight key and have a ragchew at 15 WPM or less. Takes me back to the good old days.

Before my voice went away, I used to go to the bottom of 40 meters, back where the novices used to play, and practised my CW at about 7-8 WPM. I'm not a speed demon.

But now that I'm limited to text and CW, I expect my WPM will climb.

I'm really slow.

I did my 15WMP to pass the test for Advanced, but that little spurt of speed would take some time to work back up to.
