Isn't attending the "wedding" kind of flying in the face of that? What else are you doing but celebrating the sin itself?

that's the $10K question, can one attend out of love for the sinner without condoning the sin? One can express their rejection of that life stile but should that by itself have bearing on ones love for the individual, i.e., ones own child?? Its a tuff one.
