PB & J sandwiches are delicious and good nutrition. :)

A few years ago, the Mom of a dear neighbor asked if I'd ever heard of Fluffer Nutter sandwiches using peanut butter and Marshmallow Fluff. I had used Kraft's Marshmallow Creme for making fudge, and due to Marshmallow Fluff being made on the East Coast, I had never heard of it and thought that it would be basically the same stuff. Then my friend shipped us a huge box full of Marshmallow Fluff in big tubs all the way cross-country from her New England home. She phoned a few days later and asked me to let her know when we needed more.

For my taste, Kraft's Marshmallow Creme was only good for making homemade fudge, although sometimes I used it instead of marshmallows as a topping on sweet potatoes at Thanksgiving. It was a rare occasion for me to buy Kraft's Marshmallow Creme.

From that I assumed that the tubs of Marshmallow Fluff my friend had shipped would last us years. But it was only a few weeks later that we ran out of it. My friend laughed and made me promise to let her know if I couldn't find it locally. I phoned several grocery stores and finally found one which carried it mostly around Thanksgiving but they said they still had a few jars left and I hurried over and bought what they had left.

If you have never tasted Marshmallow Fluff, it is the very best as shown in one of their early commercials. They sell it in plastic tubs but don't let that dissuade you. It's the taste which I liked plus the ingredients all were basic, with no unnecessary additives.
