Actually he has TWO 2nd Degree assault charges. Read through them again.
SURELY they were the ONLY assaults this poor guy EVER committed and just happened to get caught on both.
What terrible luck! And to think he just turned his life around that morning too...
Okay, I missed the two assault charges. But in my original post I noted it wouldn’t matter if he was arrested for multiple homicides. Was it the job of the police to punish him before he was taken in? They were just making it easier for some lawyer to get him off, and endangering other people’s. (If that is what they did.)
Just to be clear: you think the police acted properly if they did punish a handcuffed prisoner when transporting him to a detention facility?
