I agree with your sentiments about how they’ll kill Christians. It’ll be a progression. So when will there be any “push back” by those being persecuted?

So when will there be any “push back” by those being persecuted? I don't have a good answer to that. Push back comes in many forms ... some is happening now. Not enough, IMO, but tomorrow is another day.
