Creating a permanent underclass that is totally dependent on the government for all its members’ cradle-to-grave needs might be a bang up way for socialists and liberals to garner huge blocks of reliable voters, but it rots the very souls of the folks being used by robbing them of constructive purpose and self-worth. These unhappy people don’t realize it but they are slaves and their masters are letting them have a short run out of the kennel. Soon, when the looting gets too near their owners’ mansions, the order will come to behave.
Naaah, I still say they are definitely NOT slaves! I’m not sure what the right word is but a slave is someone who works every day just to exist, no pay, just enough food to keep them alive, a place to crash at night and just enough clothing and shelter to prevent death from exposure. These people are not slaves, they are more like pampered pets. They don’t work, they are paid for not working and many of them live better than some who do work every day.
