Saddam was not Iran’s enemy. If he were, he would have not stopped until he conquered them.

And take note that if we (i.e. DC) borrow money from Red China to fight a war in Iraq, we do it their way. Such a thing is the absolute opposite of what I approve of; but it indicates the heavy involvement of liberals in “prosecuting” that war, and the resulting takeover by China of Iraq’s oil certainly is an outcome they bankrolled, one of many.
