It was Obama’s foreign policy in Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Syria and Yemen that led to Islamists taking control. While the Iraq War preceded what is happening in Middle East, it was not the cause. I do agree with a lot of this. 20/20 is easy and yes, blood and treasure was spent. On the other hand, why do the Kurds like us? Saddam was convicted of genocide against the Kurds, most likely he killed 30,000, might have been a lot more.
