This one is different. The man was chased down and beaten just because he ran at the sight of the police. Even the Chief of Police ended up acknowledging that this was not probable cause as running is legal in Baltimore.
Then after the police broke one of his legs the man was thrown into the back of a police van, with his hands cuffed, and against department policy the man was not secured with a seat belt.
The police then took the van on a wild ride with the intention of harming the man - and they broke his neck.
The radio earlier (conservative radio, mind you) mentioned that the police had killed someone else the exact same way in 2011.
Doesn't excuse the rioting..and the Mayor okaying it.
I don't know about 2011, but the Baltimore police definitely killed a man that way back in 2005.
Right. The police risked their lives driving a van recklessly to hurt some punk. Why do people believe such idiocy ?
