Depends on what you mean by "conservative."
If he's for low taxes and less government, that's enough for some people.
Like Barry Goldwater, maybe?
For other people "conservative" means a lot more than that.

If he's for low taxes and less government, that's enough for some people. You cannot be fiscally conservative and socially liberal. Social Liberalism always leads to big government.

I remember Jenner in the ‘70s and ‘80s being very conservative, definitely a Reagan-supporting type. He was even on the Wheaties box, fergoodnesssake.
Leaving aside all the social wackiness, he’s probably fiscally conservative, supports a strong defense — that sort of conservative.

They fail to understand or acknowledge that support on “social issues” also drives Big Government and the growth of the dependency state. There are already instances in which the money of taxpayers, including conservative ones, is paying for the “sex-change” operations of these people who need psychiatric help. What about the people who identify as “furries”? How long before we're on the hook for them to have tails, animal ears, etc, surgically placed on them? And because this is who they “really believe” they are in their own minds, society at large will say “well, that's they're right, no one else can judge”. The left is using every avenue they can build to attack real Christians, and the spirit of evil in this world is helping to broaden the boundaries for what's acceptable in the eyes of a degenerate nation.
