Her big mistake was posting it on Facebook.
Sure, a lot of weirdos make that mistake, but it is good for the community that she is she did, and the fact that she did, and with such pride, and arrogance, is also part of this story.
She is “awesome”, too “awesome” to be fired.
I disagree.
Just ONE of her mistakes was posting it on Facebook, and as a grinning, leering veterinarian (who has a boss that owns the business and has paying customers, many of whom likely own cats as pets) holding up a pet cat with an arrow through its head is not good for business, so I would be surprised if she hadn’t been fired.
Her mistake was shooting that cat in the first place. By all accounts, the cat was a well fed cat that appeared to me to be living on a farm of some kind, if the video was correct.
People who own farms often (but not always) let their cats roam outside. This looked like a semi-rural area.
That “vet” should have had a solid visual on the cat before she shot, and if she did, she wouldn’t have mistaken it for a feral.
