I am pretty well convinced that only 10-15% of those in the medical or care providing industry are good people. 85-90% of them are subclinical sociopaths that want an easy means to abusing, harming, or exacting some twisted domination/control over the weak, sick, dying, or disabled.

I think you may be holding back a little about how you really feel?

Did she go into the peoples house? I’d suggest people control their damn pets.

I would say that this vet is a bigger concern than that sweet little cat.

To quote her before she was fired.

“As the firestorm grew, Lindsey wrote in the comments underneath her post: “no I did not lose my job. Lol. Psshh. Like someone would get rid of me. I’m awesome!”

"Oh brother. Pray tell what is wrong with shooting cats? "

It's just as lousy as shooting dogs.

"Are you vegan, i.e. confused as to how the real world functions?"

Apparently you're the one with mental fog. A veterinarian who lists "killing animals" as a fun pastime is, perhaps, a vet one might want to avoid.

Feral hogs are quickly falling under control here.

They have hog proof fences with night cameras and automatic gates now. A simple phone application let’s landowners watch the hogs go after food in a fenced area at night, and they can have the gate slam shut by using the phone. You go shoot them in the morning.

I agree with you on most of your comment. This vet could have killed the cat in many ways but chose to torture it. How odd of a vet. And, posting on Facebook was really stupid of her as who would want her treating their animals they loved, much less it is expensive.

She is just a product of the Facebook times where those who do stupid things and hurtful things think they’ll find many who think they are powerful and funny. So much for her reality show on Facebook.

Blue Bell...I feel sorry for as they are a wonderful company to work for and their product is awesome!

OK, people need to read an entire article before commenting on a thread. People are trying to defend this woman saying “It’s just a dead feral cat.” It wasn’t a feral cat. It was a cat named Tiger that belonged to a neighbor down the street from her.

No, that's not what the article said. The article mentions that a person who "cat-sits" an orange-and-white cat named Tiger in the neighborhood said that Tiger has been missing. The article does not say for a fact that it is the same cat, or that the people who own Tiger have come forward, or anything like that.

If you're gonna slam other people for not reading the facts, at least be honest enough to portray those facts accurately.

They put duct tape over her name on the sign in front of the vet office. I can’t think of a better way to announce to the world that you’ve fired a nut case than by eliminating her name by covering it with duct tape.

You don’t get it, it isn’t about the loss of a cat to the world, it is about the veterinarian.

Once Blue Bell comes back on the market they won’t be able to make it fast enough. I’ll be in line to buy it and I’m on a diet. But I’ll do it to help Blue Bell. As you know since you are one, Blue Bell customers are loyal.

Several vets in our area have a program to offer low cost services to spay/neuter, give shots to stray cats.

We adopted what we thought was a feral cat. A small wet kitten with wounds all over its face showed up one day. We took it to the vet telling them we would care for it. They said they would check it for FIV - same as AIDS in humans. If positive they would put it down. They clip the tip of the left ear which is the universal sign of a neutered feral cat.

This kitten bonded with our pet cat and both are buds now.

She shot someone’s pet. Are you another serial killer? They start out by torturing small animals.

I adopted to kittens that wondered up to where I worked one day. After a few days I brought them home. They owned us for 46 years. There came a time when we had to put them down and I cried like a baby. The only cats I’ve ever owned.

Really? Dogs are one thing. People who live in a neighborhood should know that cats tend to roam. Some cats stay inside at all times but others, like mine, mostly stay outside. Sure, theres always the risk of a dog or coyote attacking him, but the last thought through my mind would be someone shooting him in the head with a bow and arrow. Anyone with common sense should know better. Im not squeamish at all about this kind of thing. But this wasn’t hunting. This was stupidity. And the stupidity was magnified the minute she posted to facebook.

The last time I was in the ER, I politely declined getting a tetanus shot, as my injury was not a deep puncture wound. I swear I was not being a difficult patient... I just did not believe I really needed a Tetanus booster.

The nurse wanted to punish me for my choice and so when the anti-inflammatory and pain shots finally were to be administered, she made sure it came with the "humiliation" of demanding that the shots be adminned in my asscheek. I didn't really care... it was more amusing than anything to see how petty this healthcare worker was.

I've seen worse... much worse.

Read the post.

The people on this thread are pro-life, and believe in law.

So I didn’t understand your post.
