I would believe it.

I would believe that the blank will hit the fan in the next few years, on issues from the economy/national debt/Social Security solvency, to the Middle East being on fire.

And, if a Republican is president in 2017 or 2018 when the blank hits the fan, he will be blamed for all of it.

This narrative will set up the Democrats for success in future elections.
