One is given to wonder why white people aren't rioting and retaliating against blacks when a white person is crippled or murdered by a black knockout attack, which is 100% racially inspired, everyone knows it to be so and it probably happens more frequently than white police killing a black man. Of course your observation is not racist (and, of course, there are some who would portray it as racist).
That said, your observation misses the point. The difference between "knockout-game" type attacks and police abuses is that the former are crimes carried out by private citizens, while the latter are carried out by police officers, acting in their capacity as agents of the state. That is, or should be, troubling to anyone and everyone - black, white, hispanic, asian, whatever.

And we should never allow that to happen, regardless of who the police are abusing. It is morally wrong and a very slippery slope for a lawful, civilized society.
