Racial protests supposed to be peaceful quickly turned into violent riots on Saturday evening, closing down the city of Baltimore for some time—and creating a panic for thousands of people as just 50 miles away elites in Washington partied with President Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Personally, I wasn’t supposed to be on the job tonight as a reporter. After a long news week and as several of my contemporaries lived high on the hog down in D.C. at the so-called “Nerd Prom,” me and my brother left D.C. to go see our Boston Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards I hate the White House Correspondents’ Dinner—it represents everything I think is wrong with Washington, making celebrities out of news media and politicians—and given the fact I grew up just outside Boston I figured seeing the Red Sox play in Baltimore would be a great reprieve from the political culture. Boy was I wrong.
My brother and I arrived in Baltimore just outside Camden Yards about an hour before the game, and went into Bullpen Bar—one of three iconic all-brick building bars right outside the stadium—for a beer before the Sox took on the O’s. I usually make it up here for a game or two every year, and have always found Orioles fans to be pleasant...

Precisely why I choose to live in the country. There are no “street rats” around here, just good neighbors and authentic wild animals. (I laughed when I wrote “authentic wild animals” as they too are welfare fed by we humans).

And we should never allow that to happen, regardless of who the police are abusing. It is morally wrong and a very slippery slope for a lawful, civilized society.
That being said, sure, I have two black families living right across the street (well, one is interracial). Been there for more than a decade. By all observations solid citizens and good neighbors.
I judge people by how they behave, not the color of their skin.

The problem comes from the outside agitators who were buses in and flown in. Many of them arrived Friday. Yesterday’s demonstrations were clean. By that, I mean the crowd was well behaved.. engaging in their right of peaceful demonstrations. The police knew it would become a sh*t show at dark. It wasn’t from the regular folks in Baltimore.. it was from the outside agitators. Black ministers and Baltimore leadership have all spoken that it was the outside people... none of them from the Baltimore region. There were news reports of black regular Baltimore protestors stopping or attempting to stop the outside people. Who are the “outsiders” and who pays them? I don’t know.. I do believe they show up with one focus or agenda: to destroy/burn stuff/start fights etc..
Meth use can also cause paralysis. Both pot and meth cause paranoia.
The ‘outsiders’ are the paid professionals who come in to rile up the weak-minded, start the violent outbursts, along with the damage and looting. Last I saw they were allied with the Occupy movement which gets money from Soros’ outfit. They were also active in Ferguson...
Thank you, W. I wish people could have seen the peaceful demonstrations. Very American.. by that, I mean civil, restrained, and Constitutional. People can make comments about Baltimore but if truth be told.. it is a city that people who live there love. Many of the Baltimore protestors tried to stop the agitators. What is being seen is smoke and mirrors... you think you see only Baltimore protestors and amongst them are the ones who were bussed in/flown in.
This same guy, in one of the videos taking from a distance, is hit with a table, then while he is on his back, someone stomps him. Wish I could find the video ... it’s taken from above (possibly a helicopter, if I remember correctly) but he is unmistakeable because of his size and his outfit.
The places where these alleged abuses seem to occur are prone to them not because of geography or architecture, but because of the people who live there, many of whom understand the law to mean anything they can get away with.
and, personally, I have trouble ginning up a great deal of sympathy for Marxist separatists who constantly agitate for more government and race division, and then are shocked when government does what it does.
The problem is where black culture is heading. There are several homes in my neighborhood owned by black women, one of whom gets up for work before the sun rises and does not come home until after it sets. In both cases, their grown children apparently do not work, but simply hang out all day. One I suspect is a drug dealer, from all the traffic that comes and goes, the demeanor of his guests, and the business-like brevity of their visits. Their daughters, who likewise do not work, all have children without fathers. The younger sons still in middle school and high school all aspire to the thug life, and mill about with sullen looks. The women, we will not mention.
What has happened to the work ethos that the elder generation of blacks possessed, but was not transferred to their children. Instead, I can clearly see something else, something completely with out marketable skills, something that can never fit into a civilized society, that is being handed down. Quo vadis?

I’d hazard a guess that if the imported outsiders were kept away, 99%+ of the trouble at these demonstrations would never happen. I also noted as you said, the real people tried to stop the scum agitators. The left wouldn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell if they had to play fair...
The regular folks are creating the atmosphere for the agitators to take advantage. That is wrong.
Nope, but a good lesson. Weight shifted to front foot, following through, good form. But the eyes should be open and the left hand at least chest high preparing to block the counterpunch for which the opponent is winding up.
