“This event is the equivalent of the pre-WWII days in Germany”.

I’m so pleased you said that, I’ve been saying the same thing for some time now. Other phrases have been voiced other ways by other entities thru’ the years, usually dictatorships, one comes to mind, “after me, the deluge”. Certainly if hopefully there is an “after” with Obummer, there will be a deluge.

There was one during the GWB years when President Bush and a comedian playing Bush did a routine side-by-side that was very funny.

I didn't watch the event but saw a few snippets of the SNL lady delivering put-downs of the Republican candidates before gushing over Michelle Obama. Supposedly she made a reference to Obama's failure to go to Paris after the Charlie Hebdo killings which annoyed our thin-skinned leader.

Someone on Fox & Friends this morning pointed out that Obama's "self-deprecating" jokes were in fact attacks on Republicans. He may be the most humorless President in recent memory--his idea of humor is to taunt or insult others.

He’s not his own comedian, that’s for sure. The real Obama is not such a funny guy.

Probably ‘below Zero’, especially with Obama in the room.
