Yeah...Too many people look at that movie and think, “Yeah, women can do this...”...
It’s a MOVIE!!!!!
“Short hair makes it much easier to spot ticks”
Ah, if only the scalp was the sole place those filthy little bloodsuckers went for. A guy in my buddy’s ROTC advanced camp at Ft. Bragg woke up with a dozen of them embedded in his back while on an FTX. Another guy discovered one in a much more, ah, sensitive area (AIEEE!!!)
With the chain of command having been orchidectomized by the hussein administration, God help us when we have to fight another war.
Ny mother sent me panty hose when I was in Vietnam because they kept the leeches from attaching in the watery areas I operated in....
Just force the male Rangers to wear high heels. That would be a good start toward teaching those evil patriarchal oppressors about gender equality.
49 pushups? That’s like 24 and a half Marine Corps pushups.
There will not be equal opportunity in this nation until all females have the opportunity to die in combat.
All females between the ages of 18 and 55 must be forced to register with the selective service.
As a social experiment, a battalion of females will randomly be drafted into the Infantry. After Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training, they will be sent to a combat zone. No washouts will be allowed during training. Each female will go into combat after training. If they are not conditioned and prepared, then it will be harsh for them.
Females must not be allowed to pick and choose which of them will have the opportunity to be killed or maimed for their country. All females must enjoy the fun and happiness of dying in the mud in a foreign land that males have been hogging for all this time.
“Ain’t no use in goin’ back.
You lost your face in that attack.”
In the Korean conflict people would send the troops nylons so the troops could keep warm.
They did that at Texas A&M just last week...How stupid!!!!!
That would be the "Rump Rangers."
Rangettes?
I’m sorry...It wasn’t A&M...
“...On Monday, Army ROTC cadets at an Arizona State University campus were reportedly pressured into participating in an event allegedly designed to promote awareness of sexual violence against women, the Washington Times reported. The event, according to reports, required cadets to walk around campus wearing red high heel shoes.
Last year, the Times said, the Army encouraged cadets to voluntarily participate in what was billed as Walk A Mile in Her Shoes. This year, however, cadets weren’t given much of a choice, according to many reports...”
As a method of convincing young males to avoid a career in the military, I think it is quite intelligent.
That’s why I like donkeys.
I’m lazy...
Not to sound like a jerk, but have you been around these kids? My daughter is a paramedic and she is expected to carry her end of the stretcher.
They hacked off their hair for equality, or they are required to hack off hair?
How on Earth is that remotely comparable to expecting women to equal men in Special Forces combat?
Those standards seem like girly standards.
49 pushups?
Carry a 35 pound pack and a load out with weapon? 12 miles?
Gimme a break...
That’s not how it works. Those are the minimum, and if you expect to finish the course, you’d better exceed those standards. You do your PT test when you’re already worn out, and if the RI doesn’t like your form, it doesn’t count. To get 49 good pushups, you may start over several times and do two or three times that number.
You're equating civilian paramedics to Army Rangers/combat?
They’re down to eight after the first four days.
