There was a girl like that on my daughter’s basketball team in grammar school. She was an uber tomboy since kindergarten and really great at sports. All the mothers would ooh and ah over Jill because she was a “real little girl”. Wishful thinking on their parts I suppose. After college she married (a man), divorced him and now lives with her “partner” (female). Makes you wonder.

I was something of a tomboy myself. Climbed trees, rode horses, rode my bicycle to school but I was always attracted to boys. Been married to MrD for 57 years and I never wanted it any other way.😍
