During her tenure as secretary of state for the Obama administration, Hillary Clinton used a private email account on a private server in her possession instead of using a government-provided account on a secure government server.
In the aftermath of this revelation, Hillary deleted thousands of emails from her private server instead of turning them over to the State Department, despite ongoing congressional inquiries and Freedom of Information Act requests for the documents.
Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy has been at the forefront of the efforts to obtain Hillary’s emails as he continues his quest to uncover everything that happened before, during and after the tragic 2012 terror attack on the diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Although Hillary has somehow avoided answering any of the many questions Gowdy’s committee has for her, her attorney astonishingly claimed in a letter to the committee that all of its questions had already been answered.

Won’t happen. I have lost faith in Gowdy as his “investigation” apears to be nothing more than more political theater meant to make news instead of finding of fact. Now we learn this thing will be going well into 2016.

I fully agree. Then again, he did throw his full support to keeping John Boehner as House Speaker. With that, he lost a ton of credibility and respect, in my opinion.
The question is what dynamics are making him seem like a puny mutt that flashes his teeth... He seems to have the drive but we don’t know all the forces that may be working against his efforts or if he would even be left in the position if he was able to do everything he would like to do.

I hadn't hear that about Gowdy before. I did a quick search and the hits I got don't seem to support the claim. Do you have any non-rumor evidence or did I just not search enough?
Other than liking who he appears to be (pretty solid conservative with sharp mind), I don't have strong feelings one way or the other - any info would be appreciated.
