A Minneapolis man has been charged with threatening law enforcement officials after authorities charged six men earlier this week with trying to travel to Syria to join the Islamic State group.
Mahamed Abukar Said appeared in federal court in St. Paul on Friday. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tracy Perzel says Said tweeted threats. He's accused of tweeting one threat that said if the men weren't freed, there would be a "massacre."
He is also accused of tweeting a picture of the FBI informant in the case.

It's going to be a long, hot summer.
If you haven’t made your donation to the FReepathon, tonight would be a great time to do so.
Where is the illegality?
Is it in part the “intention” to join a terrorist group (which can be a vague characterization), or to make travel plans to a war zone (which journalists and aid workers do all the time)?
From another source (WCCO.com)...
Mahamed Abukar Said is accused of tweeting that he would whack the U.S. Attorney General, and said that he would kill for those guys.
Ima whack that us attorney general

Mpls was a neat town in the 70s and 80s...
I won’t even go downtown to catch a Twins game anymore.
We drove into Mpls to catch two or three Vikes games each year.
Wife and I parked at Valspar Paint’s lot, across from the dome.
Valspar was a customer and was always generous toward suppliers.
Minnesota years were good years for Eric & family.
All we have now are memories.
Pity.
I miss Sawadee Restaurant...
Sawatdee now has 6 locations.
I’ve never been to MN before, but I’ve never met anyone from there that I didn’t like. But now I’m not so sure. I’m sure seeing a lot of “Minneapolis people” are sure committing a lot of crime. Or, could it be that those same “Minneapolis people”
are resettled Somalis?

There was a Sawatdee in downtown St. Paul, across from the old RR station. My office would clear out at least once a week for their buffet.
Massive changes are taking place in the Twin Cities. There seems to be an unlimited supply of food stamps, rent subsidies and other handouts for anyone who shows up.

See pic above. Looks that way.
