I agree to an extent; but the Federal Judges and some states are forcing the gay agenda on everyone anyway. I think it is a losing battle and our energy should be focused on other issues. I heard yesterday over 61% of the public favor gay marriage. I fear for my grandchildren in what they will face in our morally corrupt society in 20 yrs.
IMHO, the best way to deal with them is take away their issue. Filling out the government paperwork for a marriage license meant nothing. It was just a requirement the government imposed on me. To me the real meaning of Marriage is standing in a Church before God and making a commitment.

I read a book about the Plymouth Colony, “puritans” or whatever. Religion was a big thing for them. Marriage was NOT part of that. Married was a natural and normal affair and wholly outside of the business of the church, it was just what was.

Unmarried adults were considered strange, because it was not considered normal.
