The people you mention don't have quite the political influence that the sodomy lobby has. Their behavior to date shows me that they will try to force compliance as soon as they think they can.

Hmmm, perhaps that is because there has been no ginned up hysterical movement for anyone to stand up for the 'rights' of the interdominational partners or the divorced.
While you are correct about these two examples, I am not so sure that they can be used to forecast the outcome for these new 'right' holders. (We already read reports of Christian pastors north of our border in Canada being arrested for preaching from the Bible on this matter.)
