unmarried women are having thousands of babies all over USA right now....to collect on the already-existing welfare benefits they get for this

the very last thing we need (at least in the larger picture, and allowing for some possible exceptions) the very last thing we need are even higher incentives for women to have babies out of wedlock, babies that we then have to support for the next 20 years or more

There have been numerous polls of aborted women asking the reasons for their decision to have abortions. Lack of interventionist economic development programs is never among them.
