This is it in a nutshell.
The issue isn't willingness to fight. Its leadership and the ability to organize. Conservatives have had the sputterings of that over the past couple decades (since Reagan), but nothing that's really persisted. And the sputterings (TEA Party) have been mostly grassroots uplift that was never really grown/exploited because there wasn't the kind of leadership necessary to carry it forward.

As you might be able to tell from my taglne I’m definitely in the Cruz camp. That said, prudence dictates thinking about what happens if Cruz is not successful in getting elected, or is elected and ultimately stonewalled.

Ultimately the question boils down to “are you of caesar or are you of God?”

We could start by demanding of our GOP candidates their positions on protecting religious freedom. The only candidate who has addressed this is Jindhal!!
