Yeah, it is a Captain Obvious statement. But our ruling class still haven't figured out that the same thing applies to the United States.
What they ought to do is send troops to carve out a section of North Africa, settle the refugees there and, in time, turn it into a semi-functional second world state and give it independence, sort of like the United States did with the Philippines.
And we should do the same thing in northern Mexico.
Countries which supply most of the refugees can also provide the locations for this type of benevolent colonization. It is only fair since they are sending people to colonize us.
