"Even Warren, who desperately wants to be President while saying she doesn't, a la Toranaga-sama in Shōgun, isn't stupid enough to run in 2016, unless she can create the illusion of being drafted to take the point for the sake of the unit.)"
Keep in mind that Warren is no spring chicken herself. She is turning 66 this year so on election day of 2020 she would be 71. I think her time is now if she's going to jump in.

Warren is no spring chicken herself. She is turning 66 this year so on election day of 2020 she would be 71.If Warren can keep herself healthy, she wouldn't be much older than Reagan, who turned 70 right after his inauguration. HRC evidently has more than enough health issues that if she doesn't make it in 2016, her time is over.
As I have suggested before--and am grateful that not many people from the other side read what I write here--Hillary!'s best move would be get elected with either Warren or (Julian) Castro as her VP, wait two+ or three years, then resign-in-poor-health-for-the-good-of-the-nation, thereby ensuring 20 continuous years of radical progressivism in the White House, all the way to 2028. That, however, would require a quality HRC does not have, the willingness to sacrifice for the good of the revolution.

I still say Michelle Obama is the next president if she decides to run. And that’s sad.
