When I was a young punk kid, 15 or so, my buddies and I got detained by the local police for some shenanigans. We all had on camo and black berets. The police officer said that “impersonating a military officer is illegal and he can arrest us.” Well, since we were obviously 15 years old, had no rank or insignia on our BDUs, we all started to laugh and make fun of him. That didn’t go over well and we all ended up in the chief’s office on an early Saturday morning to wash all the towns police cars. Good times.

And being forced to wash police cars because you wore military surplus clothing is unconstitutional. The police should have been fired.
