We live on a farm and when our six laying hens finally gave up laying, we butchered them and put them in the freezer. My wife took one out the other day and cooked it up into a chicken and rice perlou in the pressure cooker.
Just finished the best three night run of leftovers from that meal last night. Boy, was that little chicken good. Mmmmm!
