I agree. Folks are worried over the economy, whether dad will have a job/insurance. Taxes, Insurance, cost of living all factor into a decision whether to have a child. Let’s face it, it’s very expensive to have a newborn.
Immigrants come to our country knowing full well that if they are under the federal gubbamints poverty threshold, Americans will foot the bill for their irresponsible breeding habits. They don’t pay...WE DO.
There are a million reasons why people don’t have children (as is their right); I don’t see what different outcome they expect when they decide not to do so. This country threw open the doors when it wanted to settle the West; now they’re doing the same to keep all settled areas populated (rather than contract as a nation). I don’t like it, but I understand what drives it.
