About a week or two before Debbie went home, she came into our room (she had been staying on the hospice bed out in the living room for the last month or so), and woke me up by crawling into bed naked .... I awoke and looked at her and she said words that no other human could ever know and we "held" each other for a long time ... until she drifted back into chemo sleep.
