My dear husband of 45 years did this. He was an architect, very creative and focused on his work. He didn’t want to waste time deciding on wardrobe choices.
He wore khaki pants, a white shirt, and in cold weather, a charcoal grey sweater every single day. He owned several charcoal grey suits when required.
He was repeated and admired by friends, co-workers and clients. He was a gentle, polite, and thoughtful man. I miss him so much.
repeated = respected. darn auto-correct, and I missed it.
Aren’t you sweet?
May I say, with all the vitriol aimed at males, it’s nice to hear from a female who doesn’t believe we’re all reprehensible.
So sorry for your loss. He does sound like a wonderful man.
Awwwww. I’m sorry. Sweet memory, sounds like a great guy.
I too was married to a wonderful man - died 30 years ago when he was just 53. I miss him every day.
He wore whatever I put out for him...always preoccupied with composing or arranging music !
