I’ve got that beat — When I was in the Navy, I wore khaki’s to work every day for 20 years.

I had to buy BDUs as I was getting out because of some deadline, but I only wore them to a formation to prove I had them. They were MUCH warmer than fatigues, especially at Fort Polk. I also liked Khakis, especially when it was my Korean houseman taking care of them and not me.

I’ll be the first to agree that some men are pretty rotten.
But then so are some women, and some children, FTM.

So I guess no Hawaiian shirt day or Casual Friday’s for her...

LOL. I know other women who do this its called wearing a uniform. My wife worked for a reconstructive plastic surgeon, he wore a blue shirt and grey pants five days a week, we figured he bought a years worth at a time, nobody ever wrote an article about him.

At least no manager has ever had to sit her down to counsel her about bare midriffs/plunging necklines/skirts that are too short.

I only buy and wear black socks. No one seems to have noticed. As long as you don't wear them with sandals, you're ok.

Cute...plus she’s not concerned with what others think of her fashion sense so much...a big plus in my book.

So what's the big deal?
I wore the same outfit for 20 years, 3 months and eight days.
Then I retired from the Army and wore another uniform for a few years.
Then I retired from that and now my uniform consists of as little as I can get away with on a daily basis...shorts and flip-flops, unless the grand kids are coming over, then it's shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops.
I don't see a story, here.

I think its unusual for an art director. Stylish fashion and accessorizing is almost a requirement for a job like that in most places. Not in NY or LA. There, the "uniform" is it doesn't' matter what you wear to work in an agency as long as it's all-black.
