There is a good argument with Cruz that America would be better served by having him stay in the Senate for the next 30 years and end up with a nice long tenure as Majority Leader, rather than an 8-and-out Presidency.
Not the issue I’ll decide whether to vote for him on, but still a pretty good argument.

The number one requirement for the next president should be - how well does the person understand the Constitution and how prepared are they to defend it with their life.
Sure would be a turn-around from that @$$ who is in there right now who prefers to use it as his personal roll of toilet paper.
