A protester, who called himself Mike, approached Knight, shook his hand and said, You told me you didnt vote amnesty and you did. I looked it up on the Internet. You lied to me. He then patted Knight on the arm.
As the protester walked away, Knight approached him and said, If you touch me again, Ill drop your ass.

But did he vote for amnesty as alleged?
Watch the video again, and pretend that it was a Democrat that you didn't like.
If you can honestly say that it wouldn't change your view of the encounter, then I respect that.
But, if you can't honestly say that you wouldn't view it differently, then you are a hypocrite.
BTTT!
a RAT got-ya video.
That’s how it looks to me as well
Knee-jerk reactions to the surface of a story are distressingly common, even on FR. The important aspect here is whether Knight told the truth about his stance and votes on amnesty or not, which this video helps us viewers not at all to know. But as for condemnation of Knight for threatening a citizen, did that citizen use a vice-grip handshake that sent an aggressive message? I don’t know, but I will not condemn Knight until I do. ElkGroveDan seems to know him, and respects him, so that to me prevents us from jumping to conclusions.
So he was instinctively responding to his constituent with his years of training and experience. In that regard I'm surprised former officer King didn't curbstomp his critic and then accuse him of assault.
Before you all pull a liberal type knee-jerk condemnation - LISTEN to what the Congressman patiently explains about the process of the bill - and how, on the final vote - AMNESTY was stripped out of it.
Looks like a lotta FREEPERS are too quick to believe whatever someone feeds them - LISTEN TO THE WHOLE VIDEO.
He DID NOT - got that? - DID NOT vote for amnesty
Oh they do think they are untouchable. The 2nd amendment makes sure they stay equal.
11 cents changed the course of history on 11/22/63.
That’s how much a bullet cost.
But did YOU listen to the video? You don't even have to read. Just listen....
Clue: NO
referring to the video, we call that Making Terrorist Criminal Threats, and the person should file a formal complaint with the Simi Police and make a Citizens Arrest to boot.
In the END, HE VOTED TO FUND AMNESTY!
remember folks, COPS Lie, that’s just what they do, unfortunately this POS is my congressman now.
That may be, but it still doesn’t entitle him to any elite status as a critter.

Touch me without permission and IF you survive, I’ll also press criminal charges for the assault you initiated.
OK. Please explain it in detail to me, what Steve did to make him pro-amnesty, or are you going to take the uninformed word of someone in a street protest who "read it on the Internet?" Saying he didn't embrace the same strategy to stop Obama's executive order as the strategy this group supported isn't good enough. I want to know what Steve has ever said or done to indicate he is FOR Amnesty - in detail with links or direct quotes.
I have a marginal computer that will not play videos.
So I went and checked the record. Like many of the GOP Congress, he did vote for amnesty but lie about it.
He voted to fund Cromnibus and later the DHS bill which funded Obama’s illegal amnesty. Whatever rationalization he and you use to justify that won’t change that fact.
Absolutely I would feel the same. I used to work in both Capitols, I've traveled my state and the country working on campaigns. I've been the unknown guy in the suit standing off to the side, and I have seen Democrats in unfair confrontations with people on our side - several times. And I've pulled those people aside and explained to them how unreasonable they were being.
I do not take orders from you.
Buh-bye. . .
Let me put it another way then. Please stop tarnishing the name of a good conservative member of Congress with outright false accusations. It is unbecoming of any Freeper. We are known for supporting conservative principles and conservative ideals with the truth, yet you are tearing down a conservative leader with a false accusation. Aren't you the least bit ashamed of that?
No.
Exactly. He then went on to explain that the protesters were clueless about the bill they were protesting.
