Did you actually read his quotes????

Not a single one stated that he supported amnesty even though they were taken out of context and not presented within the full context of his speech/interview/writings. Even your selected quotes only state that Cruz’s amendments didn’t completely gut the basis of the bill, which he probably couldn’t do anyways. Yet his amendments attempted to derail the bill. Either way, he didn’t vote for it so his failure to gut the bill is mute.

Try reading a little more about Cruz from some reputable sources or try reading some of his policy papers before you make false assumptions. I trust that much more than the MSM. He is on record stating that he does NOT support naturalization, benefits, or citizenship for illegals.

Also, having illegals self-deport and reapply for work permits is not amnesty. Not a single article you provided said how the Cruz worker permit program would work. In fact, your own articles states that Cruz said nothing would be done until the border is secure, which he has previously stated, includes removing the illegals first. If you read his policy papers then you’ll find that Cruz supports them applying AFTER and only AFTER they have complied with the current law. That is NOT amnesty!!

Cruz’s stance is the most conservative and consistent of all the potential candidates so far.

You still haven’t told me what your State or preferred candidate has done to support anti-immigration.

Here, you can listen to Cruz say it himself:

WELNA: And yet Ted Cruz wants to change the immigration bill with an amendment removing the path to citizenship.

CRUZ: The 11 million who are here illegally would be granted legal status once the border was secured. Not before but after the border was secured, they would be granted legal status. And, indeed, they would be eligible for permanent legal residency. But they would not be eligible for citizenship.
